We enjoyed our cruise for a week on Navigator of The Seas to Spain and France.
We arrived at the port and I can honestly say this was the speediest check in I have ever experienced! We just followed directions made by the staff and there was no queue whatsoever at the check in desk so within literally ten minutes from dropping the cases off we were on board starting our holiday! I liked that the cabin corridors were closed off until 13.30 so there wasn’t people falling over cases etc.
I felt that some areas of the ship were a little tired, but everywhere was clean.
The sun beds were slightly worn.The bars and restaurants were all good and I have to say the food in the main restaurant and the windjammer was of a very good quality, appealing and tasty.
I felt there was a cut back on drinks waiters around the ship and several times we got our own from the bars, not that that is a problem at all but we have been spoilt in the past by the waiter service! The dining room staff in the my time dining restaurant were excellent.
I liked the my time dining on this ship, we just telephoned each day to book in at a time to suit.
The entertainment in the theatre was good, the best being Tenors of Rock, they were excellent and I remember them being on X factor.
The promenade entertainment was good but I felt a little dated as I had seen the ymca thing on this ship in 2007.
The music in the Cosmopolitan was dated too when I was in there around 10pm, maybe it became more up to date when I was tucked up in my cabin? Who knows! Overall we had a great time and I enjoyed all the ports.
I felt it was a value for money cruise.
