It had been 10 years since I had stepped foot on a Royal Caribbean ship, but for my 50th birthday this was the cruise that fitted in with my family’s dates.
We took 3 daughters (aged 23,24 & 25), one boyfriend and a mother in law with us.
We all enjoyed every minute from the moment we stepped on board until the minute we left.
RCI staff far exceeded our expectations, nothing was too much trouble,, not one member of staff gave poor service.
One daughter requires a gluten free diet and the restaurant staff and Windjammer staff were all extremely helpful and made sure she had what she needed.
We had bought the premium drinks package and I would highly recommend this.
We thought it was great value for money.
We we concerned that ‘wine by the glass’ might mean empty glasses at dinner but after day 1 the wine waiter had wine on constant tap to the table.
As it was my birthday we had treated ourselves to a Grand Suite, everyone else had a large ocean view stateroom.
We were all pleased with our cabins and amazed at the amount of storage.
To sum up, we had an amazing holiday on an amazing ship, I loved the size of Vision of the Seas and it was in a great condition.
