Although we felt a little like second-class citizens before we left, as we didn’t book direct with Saga (though, Bolsover Cruise Club were fantastic finding anything out we asked) from getting picked up for our trip to Dover at our door to being dropped back home at the end everything was the best.
The staff couldn’t have been more helpful in port and on the ship, the ports picked by Saga were excellent, our free excursions were very good, the food was top-notch, the service brilliant in restaurants and bars, the entertainment staff also great – we really couldn’t fault it.
If we are being pedantic when trying to relax/read/doze around the pool we found the music played all the time a bit loud and, for us, unnecessary (but that might just be us!) Is this the best cruise we have ever been on – very possibly.
Will we be going with Saga again – oh yes.
