The cruise was to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary and lived up to all our expectations.
We enjoyed the visits to all the ports, many being places we’d never been to before.
The staff onboard were exemplary, nothing was ever too much trouble and all staff greeted you with a welcome smile.
Our stateroom was lovely with a veranda and plenty of storage for our clothes.
We were initially disappointed that we had a coffee machine as we prefer tea but I mentioned this on a feedback form and within a couple of hours we had been given a kettle and teabags! we tried both the restaurant and the world café at various times and were always satisfied with the choice and quality of food available.
We enjoyed the nightly entertainment and the port talks.
Travelling as a couple , we often sat on a table for 2 but frequently made friends with neighbouring couples over meals.
All the travel arrangements worked well, including the extension in Venice, which we particularly enjoyed.
