Azamara Forward Plans Upgrades Across the Azamara Fleet

Azamara Cruises has unveiled Azamara Forward, an ambitious programme of ship-wide enhancements designed to elevate life on board while remaining true to the small-ship cruising experience that defines the brand. Rolling out across the entire Azamara fleet, the initiative introduces refreshed public spaces, upgraded staterooms and suites, and a collection of new dining and bar experiences.

The programme will debut on Azamara Quest in December 2026, before being introduced across the wider fleet, marking a significant evolution for one of the most destination-focused cruise lines at sea.

What Is Azamara Forward?

Azamara Forward is Azamara’s vision for the future of its fleet, blending modern design and enhanced comfort with the hallmarks guests already value: immersive itineraries, longer stays in port and an intimate onboard atmosphere.

Rather than reinventing the experience, Azamara Forward builds on what works, introducing thoughtful upgrades that enhance day-to-day comfort, dining and social spaces while maintaining the line’s signature sense of understated luxury.

What You’ll Notice on Board

The programme begins with ship-wide enhancements across all four Azamara ships, refreshing both public spaces and accommodation areas.

Guests can expect a more refined onboard environment, including:

• All-new furnishings, room décor and lighting across key public areas
• A reimagined Cabaret Lounge, featuring updated design elements and a refreshed dance floor
• Refined design details throughout staterooms and suites
• Enhancements to The Sanctum Spa, creating a more calming wellness space
• Upgraded public restrooms throughout the ship

These updates are designed to subtly elevate comfort and ambience without losing the relaxed feel that Azamara guests appreciate.

Atlas Bar Goes Fleetwide

Following its success, Atlas Bar will be introduced fleetwide, becoming a central feature within the reimagined Discoveries Restaurant on all four ships.

Atlas Bar will continue to offer Azamara’s complimentary beverage selection, alongside thoughtfully crafted cocktails and premium spirits. Bringing the bar into the heart of the ship creates a vibrant, social space designed to bring guests together each evening in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

At the same time, the Discoveries Restaurant itself will be completely redesigned, with new décor, lighting and contemporary furniture in a warm, inviting colour palette.

A New Chef’s Table Dining Experience

One of the most exciting additions is the introduction of a new Chef’s Table restaurant experience. Set in a private venue with sweeping ocean views, this intimate dining concept is designed for guests who enjoy immersive, food-led experiences.

Highlights of the Chef’s Table include:

• Expanded themed menus inspired by global culinary traditions
• Exclusive collaborations with guest chefs and winemakers
• Immersive Market Dining Experiences, beginning ashore with Azamara’s Executive Chef to source fresh ingredients, before returning on board for a curated dining experience

This new venue reinforces Azamara’s reputation for destination-inspired cuisine and elevated dining.

Penthouse Deck on Azamara Quest

Exclusively on Azamara Quest, Azamara Forward also introduces an all-new Penthouse Deck, constructed on top of Deck 10 and unveiling two exceptional new suite categories.

Panorama Suites

Two Panorama Suites will feature generous living and dining spaces, a calming bedroom retreat, an oversized spa-inspired bathroom and dramatic 270-degree views, offering an elevated way to experience Azamara’s destinations.

Grandview Suites

Ten Grandview Suites will combine refined contemporary design with floor-to-ceiling views, spacious layouts and expanded bathrooms featuring dual sinks and spa-style showers.

These new suites represent a significant step in Azamara’s premium accommodation offering, while remaining true to the line’s small-ship ethos.

When Will the Enhancements Launch?

All enhancements will debut on Azamara Quest in December 2026, before being introduced across the rest of the fleet in stages. This phased approach allows Azamara to carefully roll out improvements while maintaining consistency across ships.
