Celebrity Cruises’ revitalised Celebrity Solstice has returned to service, unveiling a wide range of new venues and enhancements as part of a major refurbishment programme for the Solstice Series ships. The refreshed ship set sail from Singapore on 2 March, debuting eight new experiences along with extensive updates across accommodation, dining and entertainment.

Among the highlights are four spaces new to Celebrity Cruises: Trattoria Rossa, Sunset Park, The Parlor and Boulevard Lounge. The upgrades also include refreshed accommodation throughout the ship, with updates to every existing stateroom and the addition of 54 new cabins, bringing the total number of staterooms on board to 1,479 across four new categories.

One of the most striking additions is Sunset Park, a new outdoor destination on the ship’s top deck. The open-air space offers ocean views alongside activities including yoga sessions, lawn games and live music. Guests can relax in private cabanas or enjoy casual dining at the Sunset Park Café, which serves breakfast items such as pastries, quiches and sandwiches, as well as fresh salads and wraps at lunchtime. An expanded Sunset Bar offers handcrafted cocktails throughout the day.

Dining options have also been expanded with the introduction of Trattoria Rossa, an Italian restaurant serving Roman and Southern Italian cuisine, with house-made pastas and classic dishes prepared tableside. The ship also welcomes Fine Cut Steakhouse, the popular Edge Series restaurant known for its 30-day dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood and attentive service.

New entertainment venues include the Boulevard Lounge, a 125-seat space offering all-day programming such as piano singalongs, karaoke and interactive game shows, alongside the neighbouring Boulevard Bar. The Parlor introduces a relaxed sports and gaming lounge featuring billiards, darts and board games, along with a menu of shareable dishes and cocktails.

In the main theatre, guests can enjoy two new production shows. Smoke and Ivories celebrates the sounds of the 1950s with piano performances and acrobatics, while Rockumentary recreates landmark rock concerts from across the decades. Additional entertainment includes candlelit concerts featuring live string performances.

Accommodation upgrades are a major part of the revitalisation. All staterooms have been refreshed, and four new categories have been introduced, including the Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite and two Panoramic Ocean View Suite options. The Retreat, Celebrity’s suite-class experience, now features a new sundeck with an oversized hot tub, outdoor seating and a redesigned private lounge.

AquaClass staterooms have also been enhanced with wellness-inspired amenities such as aromatherapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats and spa-style shower heads, alongside access to the exclusive restaurant Blu and the Persian Garden spa area.

The revitalised Celebrity Solstice will sail itineraries across Asia and Australia before making her Alaska debut in summer 2026.
