Oceania Cruises has announced plans for a comprehensive refurbishment of Oceania Marina, with the 1,250-guest ship set to enter dry dock in October 2026.

The extensive programme will see a full redesign of all staterooms alongside enhancements across public areas, bringing the ship in line with the cruise line’s signature style of residential luxury and understated elegance.

The refurbishment forms part of OceaniaNEXT, the brand’s wider fleetwide initiative focused on continuously enhancing the guest experience, from design and dining to service and enrichment.

As part of the transformation, all staterooms will be completely redesigned with new layouts, updated furnishings and new bathrooms featuring marble finishes and rainforest showers. Suites, including Penthouse, Oceania, Vista and Owner’s Suites, will also be refreshed to align with recent upgrades across the fleet.

Public areas will receive updated furnishings, new carpeting and refined lighting, creating a more cohesive and contemporary feel throughout the ship. The Grand Lounge will be expanded to include the new Founders Bar, offering artisanal cocktails such as barrel-aged Negronis and small-batch gin creations.

Dining and enrichment experiences are also set to evolve. A new Chef’s Studio will replace the former Artist Loft, offering expanded culinary demonstrations and food and wine experiences. The popular coffee venue Baristas will be enhanced with the addition of The Bakery, serving freshly made pastries and sweet treats throughout the day.

Signature restaurants including Polo Grill, Red Ginger, Toscana and Jacques will also be refreshed, alongside upgrades to galley spaces to further support the line’s focus on high-quality cuisine.

On deck, new sun loungers and day beds will be introduced around the pool area, providing additional comfort for guests as they enjoy time at sea.

The refurbishment represents a key step in Oceania Cruises’ long-term strategy, ensuring its existing fleet remains aligned with the design and experience of its upcoming new ships, while continuing to deliver the brand’s hallmark focus on destination-led travel and exceptional dining.
