Princess Cruises has unveiled a third voyage in its 2026 Total Solar Eclipse series – a 14-night Mediterranean and Adriatic cruise aboard Enchanted Princess, departing from Rome on 4 August 2026. This unforgettable sailing combines cultural discovery with the awe of a once-in-a-lifetime celestial experience.
Part of a trio of eclipse-themed itineraries, this Enchanted Princess voyage joins previously announced sailings on Sky Princess (from Southampton on 8 August 2026) and Sun Princess (offering 7-, 14- and 21-night cruises from Barcelona and Athens).
The highlight of the journey is the Total Solar Eclipse on 12 August 2026, which will be visible for two minutes and 18 seconds from a prime location off the coast of Eastern Spain. Guests will gather on deck to witness the event, equipped with Princess-branded eclipse viewing glasses. The festivities will include astronomy lectures, themed refreshments, stargazing, trivia, and the chance to don eclipse-themed apparel or set up personal telescopes.
Terry Thornton, Princess Cruises Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Adding Enchanted Princess to our 2026 solar eclipse lineup allows more guests to be part of this extraordinary moment at sea while exploring breathtaking Mediterranean and Adriatic destinations.
“With limited availability on Sky Princess and Sun Princess, we’re excited to give our guests a new opportunity to be part of this rare astronomical event aboard another of our spectacular ships.”
