Princess Cruises has unveiled its 2027 Canada and New England programme, now on sale, offering a season filled with coastal scenery, historic landmarks and the chance to experience autumn colours at their peak. The line will operate 17 sailings between August and October 2027, with two ships dedicated to the region.
The 3,560-guest Regal Princess will make her debut in Canada and New England, joined by the returning 3,140-guest Caribbean Princess. Departures will be available from New York, Boston and Quebec City, with itineraries ranging from seven to 13 days, calling at 14 destinations across 10 states and provinces.
Regal Princess will operate seven-day round-trip sailings from New York, including visits to Boston, Saint John in the Bay of Fundy, Newport and Halifax. Caribbean Princess will offer longer voyages of 10 and 11 days between Boston and Quebec City, featuring overnight stays in Quebec as well as scenic cruising along the Saguenay Fjord and the St. Lawrence River. Highlights include the chance to witness the world’s highest tides in the Bay of Fundy, reaching up to 53 feet.
For guests who wish to extend their travels ashore, Princess has created two in-depth cruisetours that combine a sailing with guided land stays. The Historic America Cruisetour includes seven nights visiting Washington D.C., Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello estate, Colonial Williamsburg, Independence Hall in Philadelphia and the Gettysburg Battlefield. Alternatively, the Maple Explorer Cruisetour takes in Niagara Falls, Ottawa and Montréal, with visits to the Canadian Museum of Civilisation, grand cathedrals and the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Sailings are designed to showcase the distinctive character of the region. The coastline offers striking autumn foliage, while historic sites such as Boston’s Freedom Trail and Quebec’s Château Frontenac bring the past to life. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine both ashore and onboard, from fresh lobster to maple-inspired dishes, alongside themed dining and cocktails.
Princess Cruises also promises memorable moments at sea, including sailing from Manhattan with views of the Statue of Liberty, passing Quebec’s famous skyline or gliding through the fjords of eastern Canada. With calls in ports such as Charlottetown, Halifax and Portland, passengers can expect a warm welcome, local charm and access to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Old Quebec, Grand-Pré and Gros Morne National Park.
