Regent Seven Seas Cruises is preparing to enter a new era of ultra-luxury cruising with the launch of Seven Seas Prestige in 2026, marking the cruise line’s first brand-new ship class in more than a decade.

As the newest Regent Seven Seas ship, Seven Seas Prestige will introduce the Prestige Class, building on the success of the line’s Explorer-Class ships while introducing a fresh approach to luxury ship design, accommodation and dining.

Since the ship was first announced, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed further details about Seven Seas Prestige, including new suite categories and additional information about the onboard luxury experience ahead of launch.

What Is the Newest Regent Seven Seas Ship?

The newest Regent Seven Seas ship will be Seven Seas Prestige, set to debut in 2026.

The vessel will become the first ship in Regent’s new Prestige Class and the first entirely new ship class introduced by the cruise line since Seven Seas Explorer launched in 2016.

Regent has described Seven Seas Prestige as a major evolution of its ultra-luxury cruise experience, combining spacious suite accommodation with new dining concepts and one of the highest space-to-guest ratios in the cruise industry.

A sister ship to Seven Seas Prestige is also expected to join the fleet in 2029.

New Suite Categories Revealed for Seven Seas Prestige

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has now unveiled several of the new accommodation categories coming to Seven Seas Prestige.

Among the most significant additions are the new Skyview Suites, which will feature two-storey layouts complete with private rooftop terraces. The ship will also introduce Grand Loft Suites with dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as Horizon Penthouse Suites designed with oversized balconies for panoramic ocean views.

In total, Seven Seas Prestige will offer 12 suite categories, with accommodation ranging from Deluxe Veranda Suites of up to 440 square feet to some of the largest luxury suites at sea.

Regent has also confirmed that the ship will feature a completely reimagined Regent Suite, continuing the cruise line’s tradition of offering one of the most exclusive suite experiences in cruising.

Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said the accommodations aboard Seven Seas Prestige will “raise the bar” for luxury at sea and continue the line’s focus on offering unrivalled space and comfort for guests.

A New Era for Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Seven Seas Prestige will measure approximately 77,000 gross tons while accommodating just 850 guests, creating an exceptionally spacious onboard environment.

The ship’s design continues Regent’s focus on luxury, privacy and personalised service, while introducing refreshed public spaces, new dining experiences and elevated design features throughout the vessel.

The exterior styling builds on the sleek aesthetic introduced with the Explorer-Class ships but introduces a more contemporary interpretation designed to define the next generation of ultra-luxury cruising.

How Many Ships Does Regent Seven Seas Have?

With the addition of Seven Seas Prestige in 2026, Regent Seven Seas Cruises will continue expanding its luxury fleet.

Currently, Regent Seven Seas Cruises operates six ships:

  • Seven Seas Explorer
  • Seven Seas Splendor
  • Seven Seas Grandeur
  • Seven Seas Mariner
  • Seven Seas Navigator
  • Seven Seas Voyager

When Seven Seas Prestige launches in 2026, she will become the seventh ship in the fleet and Regent’s newest vessel.

The cruise line’s Explorer-Class ships – introduced in 2016, 2020 and 2023 – helped redefine modern luxury cruising and remain among the highest-rated ultra-luxury ships at sea.
