Viking Annar takes her name from a figure in Norse mythology whose name is often understood to mean “second” or “another”. Associated with the earth, Annar is linked to Nótt, the personification of night, and Jörð, the earth goddess and mother of Thor, giving the ship a subtle connection to Viking’s rich Nordic storytelling tradition.
As a 190-passenger Viking Longship, Viking Annar offers the cruise line’s familiar blend of clean Scandinavian design, comfortable accommodation and destination-focused river cruising.
