OK – so this was my first cruise therefore unable to compare to other cruises.
However, i have had many holidays and stayed at some wonderful places including some of the worlds finest hotels, so i think i have an idea about standards.
I travelled in a party of 6 and chose the club balcony option.
This meant the ‘basic’ Brittania restaurant – however the ‘club’ option provided your own very cosy small area of tables secluded from the main dining area.
There was no queueing and no fixed ‘sitting’ time.
The service was friendly and impeccable, with an excellent choice of food which was of a very high standard.
The alternative of 24hr availability of food in the Kings Court area is useful, but pretty basic – but why bother when you have your own dedicated table available? The ship facilities were excellent and well maintained – i made use of the bars, night club, shops, gym, pool areas, theatre, lecture theatre, barbers, library and probably lots more i can’t bring to mind right now.
This ship is quite stunning to travel in and i can’t recommend it highly enough.
