Ooops, made the mistake of booking in school holidays.
Many kids on board.
Swimming pool crowded with kids jumping in unsupervised – very dangerous.
Deck and lounge service awful.
They have an app and want you to do everything through it, including ordering drinks.
Clunky and slow.
Took between 30-40 minutes to get a drink through it.
As a result people went and queued at the bars.
The bar staff served them making the app service even slower.
As a solo cruiser, every time I went to the bar for a drink I lost my seat in the sun (very few seats in the sun, mainly sun lounges and a bun fight for them in the morning).
Sports celebrities were great and very entertaining.
Ship layout was strange with bars in corridors etc.
Only Heineken, Strongbow and Newcastle on tap.
Ran out of Heineken after day 2.
Pre booking dining table on the app was a complete waste of time.
I’d booked this to try out Princess Line after doing nearly 35 P&O cruises.
Not impressed although those I spoke to said it was not representative of their normal service and standard.
