Having just got back from our 2 week Princess cruise to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary it was not what we had hoped for.
We took my wheelchair because I have had a knee replacement that didn’t work and I’m constant pain with sciatica in my legs, so when we booked the tours that were advertised as wheelchair friendly we thought we would be okay.
Far from it.
After having been knocked over in theCafeeria onto hard ceramic tiles I was in agony falling on my elbow and operated knee, when it came to getting in the coach I couldn’t get up the first step it was so high so we had to cancel the rest of the tours, I had to stay on board and my husband went on his own.
There were people on crutches on that tour who had to walk back to the ship in agony as there was no shuttle bus provided as had been stated.
After having paid one hundred dollars to be tested for covid and then catching it on our last week of the holiday it has put us off ever cruising again, after having done 13 lovely cruises on the past.
It really spoilt our golden wedding and we were longing to get home.
