Overall, the trip was enjoyable.
However, it was disappointing that we dad not visit two of the key destinations due to adverse weather conditions.
The additional destination of Liverpool was of little interest to us, due the the number of times we have already visited that destination.
We were particularly disappointed not to have visited Invergordon and Stornaway, as we have not visited either of these places.
Since we paid to visit these places and there was no compensation, it was particularly hard to swallow.
Facilities on board were good and the ship and cabin was spotless.
The best thing was the staff.
Absolutely fantastic.
The cabin Steward was perfect – he seemed to always be around, but never intrusive.
Food was very good and the dining room staff were excellent.
Nothing was too much trouble for them and always happy and smiling.
Similarly for other members of the crew – always smiling and very courteous.
It was our first time cruising with Princess and the Medallion system sets it apart from other cruise lines that we have sailed with.
We found the locating feature very useful to find each other on a ship that we were unfamiliar with.
Embarkation was disappointing as we had to wait for an hour outside before entering the cruise terminal building.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and we would definitely consider cruising with Princess in the future.
