Had an amazing 12 days onboard Royal Princess cruising around the British Isles.
Fortunately the cruise coincided with the mini heat wave we had in June/July.
With welcoming happy staff, food, drink and service were all first class.
Considering the size and amount of passengers onboard, this ship still appeared intimate, with plenty of different relaxing areas and never a problem finding a seat.
Noticeably the Atrium is extended in comparison to other Princess ships and really works well being spacious and multi functional.
Horizon court/bistro served traditional and imaginative food piping hot with the Pastry shop offering an array of irresistible desserts.
Entertainment was varied and something to suit all tastes delivered by an enthusiastic, energetic team who were eager to please.
Only two negatives and these are with the design of the ship: Midship doesn’t have an interior staircase above deck 7, having to wait for lifts which at times are busy, when only wanting to travel one floor can be frustrating.
Balconies in mid ship are directly overlook by the skywalk and afford little privacy.
Overall I would recommend a cruise on Royal Princess and would certainly sail on her again.
