Guide To Dining Options On River Cruises
Dining on a River Cruise
Despite their smaller size, river cruise ships offer a great selection of dining choices, with many featuring speciality dining venues in addition to the ship’s main dining room.
All meals served in the ship’s main dining room are offered on an open-seating basis, with exceptional cuisine served at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast options include both buffet and table options in the ship’s main dining room, along with coffees and pastries on the Sun Deck. Lunch options include silver service dining, sun deck grills, snack options and buffets, whilst a five-course dinner each evening will usually incorporate dishes reflecting the region through which you are travelling.
Many cruise lines incorporate food into time shore too who offer guests the opportunity to dine at Michelin starred and locally renowned restaurants within their cruise fare.
